सर्वांना हनुमान जयंतीच्या हार्दिक शुभेच्छा!!!

बजरंग बली की जय

हनुमान अंजनेय, बजरंग बली, आणि मारुती हे हिंदूंचे आराध्य दैवत आहे. हनुमानजींना शंकराचा अवतार मानले जाते. हनुमानजी प्रभू रामाचे लाडके परमभक्त आहेत. हनुमानजींना चिरंजीव मानले जाते. हनुमान हा राजा केशरी आणि अंजना यांच्या सहा पुत्रांपैकी सर्वात मोठा पहिला मुलगा. ज्योतिष्य गणनेनुसार हनुमानजींचा जन्म ८५ लाख ५८ हजार ११२ वर्षांपूर्वी चैत्र पौर्णिमेला त्रेता युगाच्या शेवटच्या टप्प्यात मंगळवारी सकाळी ६ वाजून ३ मिनिटांनी झाला.

भारतीय संस्कृतीमध्ये देव देवतांची पूजा करण्याची जी पद्धत आहे त्याचा मुख्य हेतू हा आहे की त्या त्या देवतेचे जे गुणविशेष आहेत त्या गुणांची पूजा करून त्या गुणांचा आमच्या जीवनात अवलंब करून जीवन समृद्ध करणे.

हनुमान जी हे अत्यंत विद्वान होते.

१. *हनुमान जी आणि सूर्यदेव*

हनुमानांनी जन्मताच सूर्य बिंबाला एक फळ समजुन ते खाण्यासाठी सूर्याच्या दिशेने उडी घेतली. ही कथा आम्हाला माहित आहे.‌परंतु हनुमानजी हे पुढे सूर्य देवांचे शिष्य बनले. सूर्य देवांकडून हनुमानजींनी व्याकरण आणि शास्त्रांचे सखोल शिक्षण घेतले. हनुमानाला सूर्यदेवांनी नऊ प्रकारच्या विद्यांचे ज्ञान दिले होते. यामध्ये व्याकरण, वेद, उपनिषद आणि इतर शास्त्रांचा समावेश होता. यावरून हनुमानजींच्या शिकण्याच्या समर्पणाचा आणि नम्रतेचा गुण लक्षात येतो. हनुमानजी व्याकरणातील प्राविण्‍यामुळेच वाक्यज्ञ म्हणून ओळखले जातात. वाक्यज्ञ याचा अर्थ शब्दांचा अर्थ आणि शब्दांचा योग्य उत्तम प्रकारे उपयोग करण्याचे कसब . हनुमानजी हे केवळ पराक्रमीच नाही तर विद्वान आणि बुद्धिमान देखील होते.

२. *हनुमान जी आणि शाप*

हनुमानजींचे धार्मिक पिता वायूदेव होते म्हणून त्यांना पवनपुत्र असे म्हणतात. लहानपणापासून हनुमानजींना अमर्याद शक्ती प्राप्त होत्या. हनुमानजी लहानपणी खूप खोडसाळ होते. या खोडसाळ स्वभावामुळे ते साधू संतांचा छळ करीत ते अनेकदा त्यांचे पूजा साहित्य आणि इतर वस्तू हिसकावून घेत. त्यांच्या या खोडसाळ स्वभावाने संतापलेल्या साधूने त्यांना आपल्या शक्तीचे विस्मरण होण्याचा शाप दिला. या शापामुळे हनुमानजींना आपल्या सर्व शक्तींचे तात्पुरते विस्मरण होत असे. दुसऱ्या कोणीतरी स्मरण करून दिल्यावरच त्यांना आपल्या अमर्याद शक्तींची जाणीव होत असे. यामुळेच जांबवनाला हनुमानजींना रामायणा दरम्यान सीतेला शोधण्यासाठी समुद्र पार करताना त्यांच्या शक्तीची आठवण करून द्यावी लागली. यावरून आपल्या हे लक्षात येते की आपल्या प्रत्येकात अमर्याद सुप्तशक्ती असतात ज्यांना जागृत करण्यासाठी कोणीतरी आपल्याला आपल्या या शक्तींची जाणीव करून द्यावी लागते.

३. *हनुमानाचा पंचमुखी अवतार*

रामायण युद्धातील हनुमानाचा पंचमुखी अवतार ही एक अद्भुत घटना आहे. काळ्या जादूचा स्वामी असलेल्या अहिरावणाने राम आणि लक्ष्मण झोपेत असताना त्यांचे अपहरण करून त्यांना वेठीस धरले आणि पातळात नेले. राम लक्ष्मणाच्या शोधात हनुमान देखील पाताळात पोहोचले, पातळाच्या प्रवेशद्वारावर अर्धे शरीर माकडाचे आणि अर्धे शरीर माशाचे अशा रूपातील मकरध्वज पहारा देत होता. हनुमान ब्रह्मचारी असले तरी मकरध्वज हनुमानाचा पुत्र होता. लंका दहनानंतर आपल्या शेपटीची आग विझवण्यासाठी हनुमानजींनी समुद्रात उडी घेऊन आग विझवली. त्यावेळी हनुमानजींच्या घामाचा एक थेंब समुद्रात पडला, जो एका माश्याने गीळला आणि त्यापासून मकरध्वजाचा जन्म झाला. हनुमंतांना याची काहीच कल्पना नव्हती. पण मकरध्वजाला हनुमान आपले पिता असल्याचे ज्ञात होते. पण मकरध्वजाने हनुमानांना कधी पाहिले नसल्याने त्याने आपल्या पित्याला ओळखले नाही. हनुमानजींनी मकरध्वजाला आपली ओळख सांगितली परंतु तरी मकरध्वजाने हनुमानाशी युद्ध करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला, कारण पातळपुरीचे रक्षण करणे हे त्याचे आद्य कर्तव्य होते. हनुमानजींनी युद्धात मकरध्वजाला सहज वश केले. पाताळपूरात प्रवेश केल्यानंतर हनुमानजींना कळले की अहिरावणाचा वध करण्यासाठी पाच दिवे एकाच वेळी विझवायला लागतील. म्हणून हनुमानजींनी पंचमुखी अवतार धारण केला. पंचमुखी अवतार म्हणजे श्री वराह, श्री नरसिंह, श्री गरुड, श्री हयग्रीव म्हणजे अश्व आणि स्वतः हनुमान. आणि एकाच वेळी पाच दिवे विझवून अहिरावाणाचा वध केला. राम-लक्ष्मणांची सुटका केली.आणि प्रभू रामचंद्रांच्या आज्ञेनुसार मकरध्वजाला पाताळ पूरीचा राजा बनविले.

४. *समर्थ रामदास आणि हनुमान*

समर्थ रामदासांनी महाराष्ट्रात ११ हनुमान मंदिरांची स्थापना केली. या मंदिरांची स्थापना करण्यामागे समर्थांचा उद्देश समाजात शक्तीची उपासना आणि तरुणांना प्रेरणा देणे हा होता. हनुमान हे शिस्त, शक्ती, सेवा, समर्पण आणि निष्ठेचे प्रतीक मानले जातात. समर्थ रामदासांनी समाजाने या गुणांना आत्मसात करावे यासाठी समाजाला हनुमानाची उपासना करण्यासाठी प्रवृत्त केले.

Hanuman, Anjaneya, Bajrang Bali, and Maruti are revered deities in Hinduism. Hanumanji is considered an incarnation of Lord Shiva and is the beloved and supreme devotee of Lord Rama. Hanumanji is believed to be immortal. He was the eldest of the six sons of King Kesari and Anjana. According to astrological calculations, Hanumanji was born 8,558,112 years ago on the full moon day (Purnima) of the month of Chaitra, during the last phase of the Treta Yuga, on a Tuesday at 6:03 in the morning.

In Indian culture, the primary purpose of worshiping deities is to honor and internalize their divine qualities to enrich our own lives.

Hanumanji was highly knowledgeable and wise.

---

1. Hanumanji and Surya (the Sun God):

As soon as he was born, Hanuman mistook the Sun for a fruit and leapt toward it to eat it. This story is well known. However, later in life, Hanuman became a disciple of Surya and received deep knowledge of grammar and scriptures from him. Surya imparted nine types of knowledge to Hanuman, including the Vedas, Upanishads, grammar, and other sciences. This shows Hanumanji’s humility and dedication to learning. Because of his mastery in grammar, he is known as a "Vakya-jnya" — one who knows the precise and effective use of words. Hanuman was not only powerful but also immensely intelligent and scholarly.

2. Hanumanji and the Curse:

Hanuman’s spiritual father was Vayu (the wind god), hence he is known as Pavanputra. From childhood, Hanuman possessed immense strength. However, he was also mischievous and would trouble sages by snatching their offerings and belongings. Angered by his behavior, one sage cursed him to forget his powers temporarily, which could only be remembered when reminded by someone else. Because of this, during the Ramayana, Jambavan had to remind Hanuman of his strength before he could leap across the ocean to find Sita.

This teaches us that we all have immense dormant powers within us, which sometimes need to be awakened by someone else’s guidance or reminder.

3. The Panchamukhi (Five-faced) Form of Hanuman:

The Panchamukhi form of Hanuman during the Ramayana war is a fascinating event. Ahiravana, a master of black magic, kidnapped Ram and Lakshman while they were asleep and took them to the netherworld (Patal Lok). Hanuman went there in search of them and encountered Makardhwaj, a creature with half-monkey and half-fish form, guarding the entrance.

Though Hanuman was a celibate, Makardhwaj was born from a drop of Hanuman's sweat that fell into the ocean after the burning of Lanka and was swallowed by a fish. The fish later gave birth to Makardhwaj.

Makardhwaj, unaware of his parentage, did not recognize Hanuman and decided to fight him in duty to protect Patal. Hanuman easily defeated him and entered Patal, where he learned that to kill Ahiravana, five lamps had to be extinguished at once. He then assumed the Panchamukhi form —

1. Varaha (boar),

2. Narasimha (lion-man),

3. Garuda (eagle),

4. Hayagriva (horse),

5. and his own form (Hanuman) —

to extinguish the five lamps and slay Ahiravana. He then rescued Ram and Lakshman and, on Ram’s command, made Makardhwaj the king of Patal.

4. Samarth Ramdas and Hanuman:

Samarth Ramdas established 11 Hanuman temples in Maharashtra with the intention of promoting strength and discipline in society and inspiring youth. Hanuman is considered a symbol of discipline, power, service, dedication, and loyalty. Samarth Ramdas encouraged society to worship Hanuman and imbibe these virtues.
